flying tomorrow quick question

hi guys,
can I: just clarify a question please.

Am i right in saying if you have a stop over for another flight your bags will be transferred to the other plane and you do not have to collect your luggage and go though the whole rigmarole again?

My brother is flying to BKK tomorrow but has a stop over in Delhi, can i just have confirmation that I'm right as I've told him this but don't want him to get there, not bother and have to wear the same thing for 2 weeks
thanks

Assuming it is the same carrier then you will be alright. When he checks in he should ask if they can check it through to its final destination

Presuming when you say a stop over in delhi you really mean just changing planes in Delhi, then yes, like the above poster says, provided you have checked in all the way through and are on the 1 ticket, your bags should be sent straight through.
