Ive just re-read your SOA, and Ive made comments over there on it. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Hi
can you get to your wages before the bank does or speak to personnel and see if you can get a cheque this month, have you got a welfare dept?
Failing that talk to CAB.
Good luck I'm sure something can be sorted.0 -
You know, there's all those threads debating whether charges (and reclaiming them) is right or wrong. They should be directed to a thread like this where the OP is genuinely trying to make inroads into the debt but it's 2 steps forward and 3 back because of the charges. It just can't be right, can it.
I think the others on the board are way more experienced than me at offering practical advice on your SOA but I just want to say good luck with it all.
All the best,

Hi Tom,
I've looked at your spreadsheet again. It's difficult to come up with something while you're juggling your credit cards. The best advice you've been given already is to take back control of your wages by having them paid into another account.
If you fail in balancing your repayments (mainly due to your horrendous car costs) your only option is to add up all your net income, subtract your essential expenditures, and divide the surplus on an equitable basis between your creditors.
I hope that you don't fail as you're trying so hard.

Oh Tom, I am so sorry to hear about your dilemma. That must be such a frustrating situation. You worked so hard to get your finances back under control, you managed to get by on so little money, no reckless spending, no nothing and then your bank "rewards" you with fat interest charges.
*curses in a foreign language*
I can't add much in terms of advice, I am far too new and inexperienced, but I wanted to say 'hello' and that I hear your annoyance and disappointment and I brought tissues and some chocolate ice cream (the good stuff!!). *hands over tissues and chocolate ice cream*
Take care,

What b******s - they don't give anyone a break do they? Can't offer much in the way of advice but you should know we're all routing for you. Hang in there.0

Awww, thanks for the support everyone! It really is appreciated.
I think the car has to go - going to speak to my boss tomorrow about downgrading. *sob*0 -
Hi Tom I just read your diary as well as this thread, it's a tough one but I think you are doing the right thing.
Good luck with it all, I know we are finding the DFW life a tough one but it's better than the alternative- hang in there
