changing a walk in shower to a bath

hi all,
we are looking at purchasing a property, however, they current owners have fitted a very nice walk in double shower. It looks great, but unfortunately we need a bath instead. (2 little ones who need bath times) The room is not big enough to have a walk in shower and a bath so the cubicle would have to go, and hopefully keep the shower and fit a bath with screen.
Can anyone give a ball park figure for a) labour alone, b) labour + parts (not going overboard but also not going cheapest)?
thanks in advance

It's probably not a huge help to you but I've been looking at new bathrooms today and for baths alone you can pay anywhere between £100-£1,000, around the £3-600 mark seems more normal.
Can you not just get a baby bath for the wee ones, that you can take out when needed, and save yourself the effort/trouble?
When they're old enough to be up and about kids don't need a bath and it sound like you like what's already in the house has?Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
In answering your question. Its probably a day and a half /2 days for a plumber to remove the old screen and cubicle, re plumb as necessary and install a new bath with waste, etc. So allow 300 - 400 for labour. Allow £50 for waste, copper, flexis etc. Then the cost of bath and taps. You can get a basic design , but decent quality steel bath for £100 and then taps say £75.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
