Only 2 weeks left people!!! How's everyone doing??? We've just got to finish off our cards and I need to buy my present for DH and he needs to order his for me and do the food shopping next week.. but apart from that everything's done!! What about everyone else?
LOL:rotfl: Quality title. You little monkey. LMCO. Have bought some things and our lass has bought me a few things and just odds and ends for the rest of the family. Waiting for baby to drop before we finish it off!

  • Tree went up yesterday.

Saw most of family over the last month or so , so they took their presents home. Have two presents i'm waiting to arrive from NEXT and they can go off. (they should have arrived a week ago, but apparently the warehouse sent them to another warehouse rather than me!)

Only need to buy a wicker basket for OH's hamper and then fill it with the bits that are arriving in the post at the moment (mostly bought with codes from the shopping forum!)

Food is ordered and is arriving on the 23rd. If anything major is missing (ie the goose!!) I will whizz to Tesco and grab a turkey on Christmas Eve first thing.

Cards...........aaahhhh........must start my most hated job of the season.......
  • We're not ready at all, tree went up at the weekend, but all coming down again as lights have now packed up
Only got the kids' presents and no others :o ,no idea what we are having for christmas dinner, will sort that when I go shopping on the 22nd.
I always leave everything till the last minute,we find ourselves wrapping presents into the early hours on Christmas eve,but that's the way we like it ;)
Forgot,I haven't bought the cards yet,so they will have to be written and sent when I finally get them!

:j Where there is a will there is a way - there is a way and I will find it :j
  • Almost, very, very nearly. Did loads today. We overspent, but we knew we would, we've been silly and thrown caution to the wind, knowing we're reining it all in in January. Just got OH's dad to get something for, maybe grandparents, not sure yet. Some PJ's for DS, and cards.... Well instead of buying individual 'mum' dad' 'bro' cards, i'm going to get a pack from the pound shop and they can like it or lump it, how long can they sulk with me for over a bit of cardboard!!! (My Mum is a nightmare for this, despite being in over 15,000 of debt herself, but she rufuses my help on snowballing, prefering to put it in the breewerys pockets instead) Me & OH have bought an exercise fandangley thing between us as our gift to each other, since 2007 will be the year of being debt free and fat free.:D Might treat ourselves to a haircut (it's been a while, we look like sheepdogs!! And my Dad gave us some money, so maybe some new clothes, you can see my bum through my current ones *eek*
