Tinted Moisturiser

Options
I have quite pale skin and feel I could do with a bit a glow. Fake tan looks horrendous on me so I am not looking for a moisturiser with any sort of gradual tan in it.

A friend of mine used to have amazing looking skin but the product she used has been discontinued, and I can't remember what it was called anyway so that's no help :rotfl:

So can anyone recommend a good tinted moisturiser that can be used alone or under make up to give a bit of a healthy glow?

It was Pout Magic Mist my friend used to use. It was a powder you applied to cheeks which gave a really good glow. Not sure if anyone ever used this and has found a good replacement?

I have similarly pale skin to you which means tinted moisturisers often run the risk of looking muddy. Avon's are good, however, as are Est!e Lauder's and Arbonne's.

In your position I would try the 99p / poundshop first as a low risk investment, I'm sure I've seen tinted moisturisers sold there and they often have branded items. If you find something that suits, then stock up asap as good products fly off the shelves.

I know this isn't what you asked for but Benefit One Hot Minute is great for brightening up. It's a bronzing powder. The packaging/brush that comes with it isn't brilliant but I was very pleased with the effect. I find the counter staff ver helpful in Boots/John Lewis/Debenhams locally. Ask them to try it out on you.

It's true that Benefit products are not bad, although I've not tried this particular one. If you decide to go for this one though, OP, I'd advise trying it on in a department store and then going home and buying it online to save money. Benefit products are fine, but not worth the money the company asks. Most of what you pay goes to fund the pretty packaging :p

Hi, have you tried the new Clinique moisture surge tinted moisturiser? Or for a cheaper option the Boots No7 Triple Protection one.

The best inexpensive one I've tried is Nivea, but my favourite is Olay.

I'm not as pale as you but I'm one of those whos face shows immediately if I've had a rough night or on my period etc. I go grey almost!

I use Dove 'Summer Glow' moisturiser for face, it has a hint of self tanner, and if I use it I can get away without using foundation - yeay!

I've had great results and I am very fussy with anything tanning or foundation wise. I bought it in a pound shop so it wasn't a great layout, though it's all in greek or something so I don't know if it has spf as well, so I tend to put that on underneath to be on the safe side. I put a bit of lip and cheek stain on as well and I look healthy - ha!
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

My pound shop has a Dove one, which I like, the colour builds up over a few day's, worth a go as it's about £6 at boots.
