hi guys,
i worked full time as night carer but im currently on maternity leave, which is due to end in july, and i am at the stage where i need to let my employer know my plans when i return to work,
i live with my partner who also works as a carer on nights, im thinking of going back to work and working 1 night shift a week, as this works out best around my partners shifts and also i would like to be home with my baby, im just wondering as our income would be less than £16,000 would there be any benefits we would be entitled too? my worry is that i will agree with my employer to work 1 shift a week and then not have enough money coming into the house.
thank you in advance
