0800 Numbers

I have a OneTel account (served by a BT telephone line) for which I pay a flat monthly fee for unlimited calls to UK geographical numbers. I do not mind paying for any non-geographical calls that I make, but consider that 0800 (freephone) numbers should not be included.
Is there any number that I can pre-dial, that will get me to the basic BT line -so that I can then call any 0800 numbers without being charged by OneTel?

As Onetel are offering free UK calls evenings and w/ends until the end of today, I would phone them and say you will shift to TalkTalk if they won't transfer you to this package. It worked for another MSE user
If they do transfer you, you can then sign up for 18866 for 0p day time calls with 1p connection charge.0 -

Thank you, Edinburghlass and Sergeant121, for your advice.
I have a notion that pre-dialling 1280 is the answer - for OneTel do charge for 0800 calls, because they are "non-geographic". I suppose that their reason for this is that it will be difficult to separate 0800 calls from other non-geographic calls, for billing purposes.
I am reluctant to change to another telephone provider, because I am very satisfied with OneTel's service (including Broadband).
Thank you, again

No need to actually change Mahendra, just threaten to change and Onetel will offer you the free package just to keep you0

They do not charge for calls to 0800, 0808 or 0500 numbers (in fact, my dialup internet is on Onetel - via an 0808 freephone number).30 years, 217 days!0 -
...and indeed they'd be in trouble if they did so.
0800 calls are free to caller, and the agreement is that where a network is going to charge (e.g. mobiles), they should play a pre-amble warning of it. (This used to be a regulatory rule, but in the new regime that created Ofcom I'm not sure it was formally coded into the new legislation). There's also a gentleman's agreement that 0800 calls should not appear itemised on the bill (albeit at 0ppm)....specifically put in place so that when kids dial 0800 1111 (Childline), their parents don't find out when the next bill drops on the floor.I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0
