The Shawshank Redemption DVD for under £3

I have the same issue as "Over_the_rainbow". I ordered this as part of my husband's Christmas present. It doesn't look like he'll be getting it now.
It is wrong of Woolworths to label it as in stock during the buying process only to change it later!!!

Hi,
I ordered one of these and it came very quickly. But it wasn't the limited edition. I emailed them as per the invoice instructions but havent had a reply. I love this film ad someone nicked the copy we had so i'm just glad to have it again. Even for standard edition i think it is good price and speedy delivery.
But I'll say again - I did not get a LIMITED EDITION which is what was advertised

certainly one of the best anyway
If you like this one I also recommend the director's follow up - The Green Mile which was almost as good.

Its a kind of old-fashioned style story and there are only little bits which make it a 15 really (similarly one moment made Green Mile an 18)
Morgan Freeman's narration is the highlight
I would hugely recommend it
Also you can buy Donnie Darko for the same price pretty much everywhere (in my opinion even better but only no.10 in TF's list)

Was listening to Radio 2 about a month ago....Stephen King was on there talking to Steve Wright, said he was approached by a woman who asked him why did he write horror stories and why couldn't he do a nice book like the Shawshank Redemption...he told her he was the writer...she didn't believe him, called him a liar and walked off

Just remember, this is the 'limited edition' (i.e. limited! Only stereo sound, etc). The other version is the 'special edition' which is the DVD with 3 discs, surround sound, etc.

Still cheap, but it is a 'basic' copy.
