Hi
Wondered if anyone could give me any pointers as to how i cope on minimum wage 16 hours a week. Went from a 40 hours per week at job last year to a min wage 16 hours job this. I was pushed from my old job as i couldnt relocate so got a bit of a payoff which has now all but gone. I downloaded some forms for housing/ council tax and tax credits is there anythign else i could claim too? have 2 children under 20 living here as well as my wife and I.
Thank you in advance of any replies.

It's not realistic to maintain a household of four on an income from just 16 hours a week, so you really need to take a second job, or your OH needs to find work.
Also, the 18 year old could get a part time job to help out...0 -
Put your details into the benefits calculators at direct.gov and turn2us to see what you may be entitled to claim.
Is there a reason your OH cannot work?
