Redundant but affected colleagues still working!

Hi guys wondering if you could help.
I was made redundant a few months ago and was given 2 weeks notice, at the same time my colleage at the same level and grade was given 1 months notice. 2 months later it now apprears that my colleage is still working and has been taken off redundancy. Is this legal? surely I should have been reinterviewed for my old job.
Any ideas how to take this forward?
Thanks

You had left after two weeks' notice which suggests you also received redundancy pay. Your employment terminated at that point.
Your colleague had longer notice (presumably because of longer service).
It would appear that during the period after your employment ended and before your former colleague's notice would have expired, the employer decided that their services were still required (maybe because of an upturn in business). The former colleague was still employed and therefore was retained and not dismissed on the grounds of redundancy.
The employer owed that to her/him because s/he was an employee. It would not be fair on an employee to interview someone from outside the organisation (you) if that meant they could lose their job (because redundant) in place of a new employee (you).
Your right to be considered for a vacancy ended when your employment terminated.0
