Do you mean by putting in cheaper kitchen and sanitary ware etc?

It doesn't have to be, but if you say you're going to spend a grand on a bathroom you have to be firm with yourself and stick by it.
I'd always say get the best you possibly can at a price you don't mind paying.
Over the years our bathroom's cost us about £2000 but we've done it a bit at a time so it hasn't stung us overly.
We replaced the suite one year, got the tiling replaced the next etc. We got the new floor done this year and it looks lovely.
Next year we'll probably change the window, I'm not sure yet, it seems ok.

The bath panel is an Oak one from The Bath store they are £150 (ouch!) but we got it brand new from EBay for £30. Mad world eh

No point worrying about that now.

You need more room. You have to either move or extend.

If you can't sell at a price that enables you to move, then extending is the only choice remaining. Therefore it's the right choice.

    Thank you makes sense
