Logged in on Digital Banking and said the below

"If a standing order or direct debit is due out of your account over the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday), sufficient cleared funds will need to be in your account by 3.30pm Friday. These entries will debit your account on Tuesday 31st May but will reduce your available funds over the weekend"

If your talking about RBS or Natwest you will have until 2.30pm on Tuesday to pay cleared funds into your account to cover the DD to avoid being charged. Providing the items have debited your account today dated for Tuesday.

The transaction will show on your statement as Tuesday's date.

Today is already Tuesday as far as banks are concerned, in terms of regular payments.
