Agree with others - whats the problem with just washing it with the help of a little cleaning agent?

I used to work in a room with a highly polished floor. One day a can of coke sped all around the floor as if it was jet propelled. It took all the polish off and it took the cleaner weeks to get the floor back to a high polish finish.

You could always try wiping it with a cloth? I mean honestly, how do you manage to put one foot in front of the other :D
