Praise: Hoseasons - Fantastic Customer Service

I made a mistake booking a holiday earlier today, I somehow managed to select a date 1 week after when I actually wanted to go. I didn't realise this until the confirmation page came up and told me I had x days to go to my holiday and then the penny dropped :P

As I had not taken out their cancellation protection (being a tight git) I immediately assumed I had wasted my money :(

I called customer services and they immediately cancelled the booking and refunded me - they didn't hesitate! I was amazed, you just don't get service like that very often!

Well done Hoseasons - doing that has made me very likely to check your holidays before anyone elses!

  • I'm having a very different experience. We booked a holiday over Christmas via Hoseasons. We were returning to the same resort for the second year as the first visit had been so enjoyable. However, there was a catalogue of issues this year that spoilt our holiday. I wrote to Hoseasons, who spoke to the proprietor. The response I got was completely dismissive, despite the owner admitting that there were issues in the lodge we stayed at. It seems that Hoseasons customer service is based on "take it or leave it". Disgraceful.
