I have recently started taking Beroca on a daily basis and feel a whole lot better, good for an additional boost. Personally speaking I don't belive their is a substitute for a diet packed with fruit and veg, fresh meat/fish/eggs/cheese, limit your intake of processed foods, sugery snacks, alchol and up your water intake (i drink 2 litres of tap water with a little bit of juice added a day) this will increase your energy levels alone belive me. It is hard at first but the benifits are almost instant. With regards to depression I know its proberbly the last thing you feel like but exersise really will help. You don't have to go to the gym just get outside and walk for 30 mins a day. combined with a sensible diet you will feel like a new person I promise;).

I think it also has to be taken into account that air pollution, the quality of the soil, and all the other factors that now effect our food, makes it so different in it's nutrient content from that eaten by past generations.Determining whether we can get everything that we need (micronutrients ie. vitamins and minerals) from what we eat, which I personally don't think we can, is what makes me add supplements to my diet.

    I just read this article:-

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/05/110531115323.htm

which just reassures me that I'm on the right track!!! I'm 61 and have been taking supplements since I was 19....when I first ventured into the land of diets, and I am very healthy....so far!

This table (and the rest of the website) is useful:

I *think* this is the one I saw about 3 years ago - obviously the memory effects haven't kicked in yet!
