at this time of year the ALF money wil be long gone and when the new funding is available next year the OP will not be eligible as they will by then be an ex student not a current student. The SU may have their own source of hardship funding but again as a soon to be ex student who has a job lined up the OP is hardly a priority case.

I would look into selling old textbooks to raise some money. I was shocked to find my old uni textbooks were worth so much on Amazon Marketplace recently (I left uni in 2002 and did a science course so they go reasonably out of date quite quickly). I got over £20 (each) for most books and made a few hundred quid out of a box that had been kicking around my loft for the best part of the last decade!0
