Sorry to be harsh here, but it doesn't sound like accounting is for you if you are so bad with money. And you'd save some money too if you drop the course.

I was thinking exactly the same thing....

Sorry hon - but I think you will find that there are loads of accountants hanging around on here, some of whom have got themsleves into very interesting scrapes indeed.

You are young Vise, so take this as a lesson learned and resolve never to fall foul of these lenders again.

Plently of help and advice around this site to create robust plans for getting out of debt, staying out of debt - even getting rid of a mortgage quickly when the time comes - remember this managing money lark is a continuing process.

Good luck with your studies - knuckle down and go and get that dream job.

And remember - everyone is entitled to make mistakes.

Totally wrong! To give up something because of one little hiccup isn't productive and imo is rather lame.

I am impressed that someone straight out of sixth form in on here trying to organise his finances/her finances rather than leaving it for years to spiral out of control like most of us on here have.

Personally, if you learn the lessons at 18/19 you will be in a lot better position than learning those lessons at 30/40/50/60 etc

Vise - get that Wonga loan paid back asap and avoid payday loans like they are the plague in future. x

Thank you all for your encouragement. I will stick through it. Its in my best interest to start saving and put some money aside, but its so difficult. Never realised that once you get money in your pocket, everyone will be on you; like flies on sh*t. Its a shambles, fines come from nowhere, bills go up, expenses go up. It seems that even though Im making money, its never enough to cover today and leave a bit for tomorrow. Every payday im thinking - put some of it away for next time.... And every payday I find myself in new, awkward circumstances.

    anywho, back on topic.
    Regarding Philips Collection services...
I called them up, and they referred me to their email. I need to send a copy of my ministatement.
Other than a refund, will I be able to milk them for more?
If I ask them for a reimbursment for the stress /problems they have caused; could I take this situation to the Ombudsman???
They did cause me credit problems, making me unable to pay my loan on time, would this justify for further investigation, and should this be mentioned
in the email I send them?

    Thank you!

I know its too late now as you have extended your loan but it may have been cheaper to have a bank overdraft.
With regards to trying to get mare money back off the bailiffs I think you would be very lucky indeed if you did.

for some reason the bank isn't letting me put an overdraft on my account. Hence I fell to the bad option of a ST loan, =//
