Dishwasher Arms Not Rotating

The 'arms' in my Zanussi Aquasave dishwasher have stopped rotating meaning everything coming out dirtier than it went in. I've checked all the ususal obvious things, something in their way, blockages etc but can't see what could be wrong. Water streams out of the holes in the arms but they just don't rotate. DH thinks the pump's stopped working but before I out it  and have to buy another    has anyone got any advice to offer? Thanks in advance.

The spray arms rely on the water pressure of the machine to turn. If any food gets into the nozzels then they stop turning. Make sure they are clean and no new holes have appeared due to corrosion.
Also on some models the top bit isnt used if the economy button is pushed in
so check that.
One other point, if the pump pressure isnt sufficient (partial blockage)this will also effect the spray arm(s)0 -
Thanks, alanobrien, for your reply. Checked everything again and decided it must be the pump pressure.0
