defrosted freezer

I am so annoyed with myself - I managed to leave my freezer door( in garage) slightly open last night. Found it today- most things close to defrosted. Has anybody done the same stupid thing and is there no option but to throw everything out?

You can cook it all ... but if that's not practical then you'll have to turf out stuff that could be dangerous (e.g. meats and fish).

Chips and veggies would probably be fine though.

    What've you got?

If it were me I'd now be looking for a length of wood about 1/4" thick to shove under the front of it, to lessen the chance of the door not closing in future. But I'm a bodger like that.
