Not sure if these are related problems but I found one as a result of the other.
I have some photos of my new baby nephew I'm trying to put on a CD for doting grandma but when I put either a CD or DVD into the drive it comes up with E:\ is not accessible, incorrect function.
I then tried to do some troubleshooting to find out what was wrong and I can't remember where I was trying from but I did get into a troubleshooter, but then when I tried to work through it I got a message saying my ActiveX was unsafe (something like that, sorry can't remember exactly)
Anyway I went back into my HP Help & Support, clicked on HP Pavillion help, got the list of top level topics but when I tried to actually dispaly any topics nothing happened, and I had an Internet Explorer Script Error.
So I can't out photos on a CD and I can't get to see my Help (for anything at all it seems)
Can anybody help me? I'm not sure where to start

    Right-Click on E: drive

    Properties

    Recording Tab

then check the "Enable CD Recording On This Drive" box.

For internet Exploer Try resetting it

Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, There should be two reset options click both of those and restart IE. (This is done from the Internet Explorer options)

For The CD drive, try http://support.microsoft.com/mats/cd_dvd_drive_problems/en-us
