Bose very poor service

I ordered A bose Wave system with some headphones and it came today , the box was all damaged and the tape had come off so it could of actually fell out...the packaging was very poor not what i expect when i just paid over £500....all dented in on outer packaging.

Even the Wave system was only protected by a bit of plastic which was damaged , unit has not plastic covering at all ....which makes me wonder if its used?

I also found my free dvd player was missing , Bose now tell me they have non in stock yet and will send it at later date...yet they never bothered to inform me until i chased this up.

They assure me its a new unit but if it is second hand then its a mistake because of the Xmas rush.....they said i could replace it if i like , but i don't have time to be messing around waiting in for delivery drivers...it already took 2 weeks for delivery...i found out as well from UPS that it was imported.


I may just send it back all together because the sound does not sound that good at all compared to my normal cheap CD player.

Maybe its a one off? as from the reviews i read this is suppose to be great

I ordered a spare large remote incase the remote what came with it was to small , wished i had not bothered as the large remote is quite vile looking and lot bigger then i was expecting.

I really disappointed with Bose , i get better packaging on CDs i order through the post.

Btw is it normal for this Wave system just to come in a plain white box? as i am a bit worried incase i have someone elses return

what do you want?
they have offered to replace it if you are not happy[you obviously are not].
so take up their offer of a replacement.
As for the colour of the box I am not sure,they may only send out second hand stuff in white boxes and save the fancy ones for the new stuff.

I want better service thats what , after all they are not exactly cheap .... i do not a cowboy service.

It is brand new suppose to be anyway but it is going back ,because of there poor service i will shop else where....thats if i can get the indian call centre bloke to understand english , will have to try again later.

ok .. the bose from new, does only come in a plain white box, it is supported internally by a plastic case, quite thin though..
