Champion League Western Union Scam?

I am looking to buy tickets and found 2 people, both want me to pay money into Western Union in the name of a friend or the other person attending, not their names.
1 wants me to send a copy of the receipt as proof the cash is there and they will then meet and do the exchange, the other hasn't clarified.
I don't know about WU practices but i suspect that with the details from the receipt they will then be able to withdraw the money!
Any advice gratefully received!
Did think of paying it and taking it straight out and then sending the receipt!

I checked with WU and they said that no one can withdraw the money without the reference no, which i said i would edit out of the emails. Both seem happy with that.
Still not going to do it by the way but i am exploring all avenues, bot burning any bridges!0
