Lightswitches - 1W vs 2W

Could someone please advise if it is ok to use a 2 way light switch instead of a 1 way, when only 1 light switch is required?
I want to replace our bathroom light switch (it's located just outside the bathroom before anyone starts worrying) so that it matches the other light switches in the hallway. However, I can't find a 1G 1W switch in the same style - only 1G 2W.
Thank you!

Yes, that would be fine. Connect to Common and L1, leave L2 empty.0

No problem. The live going in to the terminal marked Common. The other to either of the two that are left.
If the light is on when the switch is up and you want it when it is down, change the terminal that the last wire is in.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
