I dont feel i meet the criteria for dla as things maybe bad for me now i know in couple of weeks it will get better until it flares up again .
If you feel you want to appeal then go ahead they can only say yes or no .
I feel they didn't take the bad into account. Just the good.
Like you I have good days and bad days. Bad days I have no use of my left leg, but can't put any weight on my right lef because it's too painful. So i have to have someone behind me to life my leg to get up stairs. I need help turning over in bed, washing, toilet etc. I can't even sit up. Then like you it'll gradually get better. But I'm never without pain, I still can't carry things or walk for very long.
But obviously they just went on the good days and ignored the rest.Sigless0 -

You could try telling your GP what they are, but at the end of the day, he/she cannot still confirm what they are without actually seeing them. To do so without actually witnessing them, the report would be unfair, unprofessional and above all untrue.
So the DWP latch onto this well known situation and state that the GP says that as far as he/she is aware 'you don't have any'!
doesnt stop ATOS does it?0 -
Appeal, appeal and appeal some more. Don't give up! that's exactly what they want

Thanks everyone. I'll call tomorrow and tell them I want to appeal. I'll also make an appointment with my doc. She is usually helpful with stuff like this. She's been great with my mum so I can only ask.Sigless0
