Hi,
I have an ISO image which I understand needs to be burned to DVD in order to install the program on to my computer.
The file is 6gb so is too large for a standard 4.7gb blank dvd.
Is there a way around installing this program without having to burn the ISO file to DVD?
I have opened it in winrar and tried to install it from there (using the setup.exe file) but no luck

Just use winrar to extract the files.
or something like magic iso.0 -
When I open the ISO image in winrar is is not showing as a winrar file which can be extracted. I can view the files but it won't let me install the program application (setup.exe) - it tries to install then says a file is missing. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

You can download programmes which will emulate a CD/DVD drive. Using these the .iso file will appear as a drive on your computer.0 -

I've clicked on the ISO image and now its extracting with winrar - it's taking a while. I just hope it works this way, if not, what is the name of the program which I could download? ThanksA home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
DAEMON Tools Lite Be careful not to install any Toolbars(Untick the last five options during installation).0

It's extracted with winrar and now installing the program. It's getting further than it was before so seems like it's working this time. Time saving as well as money saving - I hope. I usually speak too soonA home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

I got the program to install without having to download extra programs. I used winrar to extract the ISO file, then installed the program and it workedA home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

In the future, keep in mind you could always burn an image over 4.7GB to a dual layer DVD (Verbatim ideally).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
