O2 Priority Tickets / Ticketmaster rip off?

On Wed I bought two tickets through O2 Priority Tickets / Ticketmaster for Friendly Fires gig at Manchester Apollo. Total cost £62.25

They are on general sale today and two tickets for the same gig £37.50. So outta pocket by £25.75!

Do you pay a huge premium for priority tickets? Cannot find any mention on Ticketmaster nor O2 about paying a premium.

This has happened to me too and I've been trying to get in touch with Ticketmaster all day and I keep being told by an automated voice that they are experiencing high call volumes and the call is disconnected. Even the number that 02 gave me which is specific to the 02 Priority tickets isn't working.

This is the first time I have used this service and I am livid! I got 4 tickets so I've been done by £32! I'm assuming it is an error as my friend uses the service all the time and has never paid a premium we checked all his tickets earlier. The general sale face value is £16.00 I think whereas we paid £26.00 face value (and £4.00 fees) so hopefully it's just a typo and we will get our money back.

If I ever manage to get through to Ticketmaster I'll update...

Must be an error, I've used priority many times before without any problems.

I lodged a 'question' from their FAQ page last Fri.

Today I got the following email...

I found out that there was an error when the tickets went on sale. I have put the correctly priced tickets in the same booking and refunded the difference back to your card. Please allow up to 15 working days for the refund to appear in your account.

RESULT!

Glad I checked when they went on general sale
