Day in the Life of Bob - Buying a New Bed

It's your call, Bob, but £200 plus is a lot to pay for a bed you aren't happy with. I would be returning it and charging back if I paid by cc.
Good to be forewarned though about such a shoddy company and their staff.0 -
What terrible customer service. Guess they don't use their own delivery drivers.
In defensive of the size of the bed frame, it will be made to fit a 150cm mattress. If the slats were bang on 150cm then the mattress would be very tight in the bed frame. Also if the side rails come up high, then it would be very difficult to fit the sheets without rippping your knuckles off.
All mattresses will vary slightly in size from the advertised, due to machine tolerances think they are allowed +/- 5%
Mattresses are still being made in imperial which would be 5ft (152.4cm) others are 150cm wide.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -

Sometimes it's just not worth the hassle, I agree with the op. I bought a super duper guinea pig cage from a company in germany, When I opened it up it was obvious the box had been dropped or badly handled in someway as a couple of the corners were damaged. I had the choice of packing it all up, waiting for a pick up, waiting for a delivery and tbh I couldn't be arsed!
It's not the end of the world, the damage is hidden and doesn't cause a problem, sometimes it's just easier to accept things are the way they are, I like a stress free life:rotfl::hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly0
