I think I've been scammed with tickets on ebay

On 29th March 2011 I won the item two tickets to see take that for Manchester on Fri 3rd June. The item was for a large amount of money I wanted to make sure I felt comfortable parting with my money which was £155 so I sent emails to the seller via ebay to find out as much info as possible. One of the emails i sent was asking if she had proof of purchase online to send to me before I send payment, but she couldn’t as she stated that she bought them from the City of Manchester Stadium. On the same day after I won the tickets (29th March) she said she made a mess of the listing and needed to relist but I said could I not still have the tickets I won and she relists the other eight. She quoted back to me' sorry mate i am new to this ebay lark and made complete hash of it but i have relisted the item and have 10more to put on how many do u require?'I responded back to let her know I wanted the 2 I won and she said that was fine and said for me to send the payment. Ever since I sent the payment she won’t answer any of my messages either via ebay or with the email I got from her. Its now one week away till the event and I haven't heard a peep from her.
On weds 18th May I sent her yet another email saying that If I haven't heard anything in a week I will open up a dispute which I did and it says because 45 days has past I have missed the deadline, and to try contacting the seller, which god knows how many times I must have done that now.
I bought these tickets as treat for my Fianc!e and not only does it look like we wont be able to go now but it looks like I wont get my money back.
She even said to me when I was asking sceptical questions that it’s disgraceful how people get scammed and that she can’t understand it.
I hope I am wrong in all of this and the tickets come but I'm becoming increasingly concerned that I'll lose out here.
I understand there is a limit of up to 45 days to make a claim but due to the nature of the item, (tickets for an event which hasn’t taken place yet) I had to wait more than 45 to allow for delivery (tickets need to be sent to her from the supplier and she was supposed to send them to me.
Both Paypal and Ebay have refused to help as its outside the 45 days. Ridiculous in my opinion.
In the meantime I have managed to get the sellers phone number from ebay and have left a message on her phone. This was yesterday (Thurs 26th May) and still no reply.
I don't know where to turn from here. I just want my money back now.
Any suggestions.

Did you pay with a credit card, you might have to get a chargeback via your bank.
Failing that send a letter to her saying you will take her to the small claims court.

I paid through paypal from my current account. They have refused to do anything as its passed their 45 day threshold for claims.0

If she had ten tickets to sell as she got any up on ebay now?
I think in some cases, if there have been a number of complaints about one particular person, Paypal will look into it. If other people have brought the tickets and left negative feedback could you contact them and see if they've raised a dispute?0 -
the lesson is only buy tickets from an official source - hope you get your money back but why do people keep doing this?I'll Complain, Complain Again and keep complaining until I get what I want. I will never let you win, I AM ALWAYS RIGHT and you are always wrong because I have the KNOWLEDGE0

paypal should do something about this, you need to contact them directly0

If you buy tickets from the Stadium don't you get tickets straight away anymore? I thouight it was just telephone and internet tickets you had to wait for. One other thing is I am pretty sure when I bought my tickets that there is a maximum of 4 per order or something so if she got 10 plus they may well have cancelled part of her order and refused to send them.
I do hope you get sorted though OP.0 -
I has a similar experience but luckily I did not part with any money, there are alot of scammers on ebay, you said you have her phone number. have you put that into google. I did that when I got hold of my sellers number and there were lots of people who did not get their tickets so made me back out. They are very convincing and seem nice as pie but they are not.0

See my post about how to sell legally, this is why I needed advice on not being seen as a scammer!0
