Just Got Highest Credit Limit With Abbey Card

Applied for the nine month interest free offer from Abbey last week and got it with a £10K credit limit. The most I have had before on application is £5.5K. Funny thing is this is the second time I have applied for it and the last time I got a rejection because i had a £17K credit limit with MBNA. I still have the £17K (unused), so hopefully I will be able to transfer this unused credit to the Abbey card.

Update - got a letter from MBNA today saying they had reduced the credit limit on my old MBNA card by £10K so that I could qualify for the Abbey card, so total exposure still the same.0

They also used to be good for using to help chat up the birds
