in Wales
I`m in s wales and last night the water smelt and tasted strongly of chlorine/chemicals. The water here is usually so sweet and lovely to drink
I wonder if the water co had to up the chemicals for some reason. Anyway I went to argos this morning and bought a water filter
Anyone else notice anything?

your best bet would be to contact your water supplier - dwr cymru/welsh water, as a guess. ask if they can explain it, perhaps they can shed light on the situation
i'd agree with about how nice our water normally tastes. dont know what you'll make of filtered water, because i really couldnt take to it. the taste was too far removed from the taste of normal tap water for my liking _pale_know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Hiya! We live in an area where the water always tastes of chemicals, so I can sympathise (was brought up in an area where the water was gorgeous - in fact some people had three taps, hot, cold and springwater, because we were up on the hills - now that is GORGEOUS).
Anyway, just wanted to say that if you fill bottles with normal tap water and put them in the fridge for a couple of hours, the chlorine taste dissipates, and the water tastes nice again. Obviously if this is something that doesn't normally happen in your area though, I would check with the water board."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
