Hi,
My gf and I would like to open a "joint account"...
Our salaries will not be going into this account, just additional funds we acquire from doing other work...
Whats the best bank account for us??
Please help..
Thanks in advance..
P.S. I have an appointment with nationwide tomorrow to open a Flex account with E savings (something or other) so if you guys can come up with something better asap I would really appreciate it...

Depends really.
Do you want a current account, with cheque book/cash card/switch card.
Or do you want a good savings account for you to save the money in and not for day to day use.
You need to elaborate a little more in your post, and maybe someone can recommend somewhere.
As for Nationwide, I have an account with them, and never had any problems, I also find there online banking good. We are also with First Direct, who are excellent, but if you are not using it as a main account, you would be subject to there charges next yr, if you only have one account with them.
I have also banked with Natwest and A & L, and would not recommend them.

Yeah, you need to provide a little bit more detail as there are many many accounts that could be suitable for you.0
