silly Q - rotary washing driers !

Probably a very silly question !

I've been searching on the internet and trying to figure out which rotary driers are removable.....not having much luck though.

I've only got a small garden and want to put in rotary drier that I can take down and put away if a want to.

I know that there would probably still be a spike in the ground but at least I could put a chair over it !!

Has anyone got any ideas please

thanks

    They all are.

But they don't necessarily come with a spike/tube - you may have to buy that separately.

    Hi,

my first stop for anything is Argos, have a look here,

most will have a spike, but if not you can buy one there also.

Remember if you are going to be taking it out of spike, to cover spike to stop stones etc filling it up.

Oh, and you shouldn't need to put a chair over it, it will batter in level.

They are great - if you don't mind your washing covered in brickdust and with holes worn in it !

Ceecee1, those spikes can become unstable over time, you'll need to concrete in at some point - I wished I'd done it sooner! Also in my experience the four arm lines dry clothes quicker than the three arm ones, not sure why. Hth.

I just have mine stood in a hole in the ground. I did recement it earlier this year and used an old piece of plastic pipe slightly bigger than the washing line post to keep the shape, but can remove the washing line post at will. It's been like that for about 15 years or so...

I bought this make from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brabantia-Compact-Rotary-Dryer-Metallic/dp/B0002EXYN4/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1306672070&sr=8-11

I got the 50m one. It is very big & very strong. I take it out on windy days just in case. It comes with a very good ground spike, which has lugs on the side to secure the spike in the ground.

The drier itself is adjustable in height for tall or short people.
