hi does anyone know if i can take in food and drink to the Stadium of Light. Going up there for about 5pm and thought it would be good (and moneysaving!) to take a picnic. Will we be allowed?
I can't remember if i got my bag searched last time...
Thanks

We take food and drink in when we go to the match, but I've never been to a concert so I don't know if the rules are different. Here I go again on my own....0

You'd have to call the venue and ask them. Last few gigs I've been to have been at Wembley and they don't allow you to take in any food and drink full-stop (and their catering is the biggest rip-off I've ever come across!)Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0

at the S.O.L you can not take your food and drink.

Absolutely pathetic. This is why I no longer go to these money grabbing, rip off places.0

We went last night and people standing had umbrellas!
We didnt get in till about 6.30 as had seats but no one asked to see our tickets, we got in by scanning them at the gates. No one searched our bags and no one took my water of me. But only had a small bag with, maybe they check larger bags?
Security more bothered about what was going on in the standing area so may be more strict there??
But it was a fantastic night
