iPhone 3GS custom ringtone help

Hi guys, looking for a bit of advice re: putting ringtones I've made from iTunes onto my phone.
I've made 2 so far (by picking which part of the song I want and chinging it from .m4a to .m4r) but only one of them has gone onto my phone even though they're both in the ringtones bit on my iTunes and both ticked.
Is there something else I have to do to get more than 1 at a time onto my phone?
