I have heard so many good things about steam generated irons.

I have no idea what is a good one...does anyone have any recomendations or know of any sales??

Saw a TJ Hughes leaflet yesterday with steam generator reduced to 39.99 from £100. Sorry no idea what make or model - just remember seeing the offer! google their site

ive been told to get one that will not need cartridge refills but I can't see on these or alot of them im looking at the details.

do you know of any that dont need cartridges?? x

None of those seem to mention cartridges, though with the way sales speak works, best to ask before sending them your postal orders.

We bought the BOSCH sensixB25L (model number TDS2569GB) steam generator and it is a great piece of kit. They really do reduce the amount of time you spend on the ironing, though I haven't compared whether they use more electricity..

They are currently about £230 in Comet, but we picked ours up for £129 in an Argos special last autumn. As good as it is, I would not have got it if the price wasn't so good at the time!

i love ours we have a phillips one and have had for around 3 yrs its brill, even hubby does the ironing now lol
