Is entering meter readings early With Scottish Power a big mistake?
Hi I notice I get charged about 18p for the Primary kWh electric and then 7p a kWh secondary after that so is it cheaper to not send your meter readings to early and get more 7p kWh?
I compared two bills and worked out an average of 10p kWh on one and 11.3p kWh on another with the 11.3 kWh bill being for a shorter time between meter readings.

225kWh per quarter are charged at the higher rate so if you enter readings more than once a quarter it wont make any difference as they will just portion it out. I enter my readings once a month but I did it twice this month as my meter was changed over so I submitted the end reading in case there was an error when it was sent from National Grid to SP0
