BEST integrated Dishwasher for £400??????

hey guys treating my mum to her first ever diswasher. by budget is £400 but can throw in the extra £20 if something is worth it.

Prob is i dont know whats best make, i read the last post about dishwashers and still was a bit confused.

I seen this one...
http://www.bhsdirect.co.uk/BH_Bosch_Appliances_Dishwashers_Fully_Integrated_30032585/version.asp?refsource=bhadwords&gclid=CK6Uz6uIhqkCFQoZ4QodOBSGjQ

Im worried as its a bosch classixx - ive heard that this is the entry level bosch range and that its not even built in germany - so does that mean it will not have the reliability we expect from bosch?
Would this be a good machine for the price? or would there be another make that would be beneficial for this prce?

Thanks in advance im a total novce in this department!

I've got a Bosch dishwasher, not integrated, but it has been trouble free for the last 3 years, apart from a fluke with the glass covering the front panel popping out not long after I got it, which was sorted out very promptly. It has worked perfectly, and is quiet, and efficient in operation, unlike my old indesit one which was loud.

I'm gutted as I haven't got room for mine, in my new homes tiny kitchen currently. I would definitely recommend that make. :)

I've just ordered a Siemens AQ-100 for 400 quid, so that's an option too.

Spec and energy wise, its very close to the Bosch you list.

I'm in process of buying integrated appliances, done my research and looking at spending similar money to you. Neff, Siemens and Bosch are all same products, however Bosch is the entry level and Neff and Siemens comparable as I understand it. I've gone for the Siemens IQ-100 integrated for £350 delivered and fitted, I'm happy with that.

The basic Bosch is fine, it just lacks some of the features that probably won't be used anyway. But don't buy any integrated dishwasher-you'll regret it when you do need access for repair or replacement.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Bosch is solid and reliable, shop around though, the same model prices can be very different in different shops.

Ive found Currys can be beaten into a cocked hat by Dixons yet it is their sister company.

Why particularly an integrated one, is the kitchen pretty new. Can you still get the doors to match.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Sorry, I don't have model no to hand, it is the latest Siemens 2011 60cm integrated, IQ-100. Bought from a place where the kitchen was orig from and now buying a few appliances so they are doing bit of a deal in terms of knocking money off overall. Go on the Siemens website and have a look, I believe it is this one but like I said, don't actually have everything to hand http://www.siemens-home.co.uk/our-products/dishwashers/full-size-dishwashers/SN66M053GB.html?source=browse

    Good luck.

Always had integrated dishwashers, never had an issue. Last one I had was in for >7yrs (still going strong, only buying new as I have moved), parents have had theirs 15yrs.
