Dab radio display query.

For some reason, my Sony DAB radio now shows the station twice in the display panel. It started this weekend - any ideas why?

Does it matter?

what's the model number? does the manual for the radio give any insight? does it affect the operation in any way?

MODEL XDR S55DAB. It's the little one which came with the bigger CD/cassette/radio/speaker set-up on an excellent John Lewis offer several crimbo's back[and they price-matched Curry's]
No insight from manual.
Operation unaffected, but I am intrigued - have just noticed that tiny upper case 'SC' flashes continually undermeath the duplicate station i.d.

Does it normally have the song scrolling there? I know on my DAB there are several different display settings which sometimes get messed about with, have you tried changing the display settings?

Hello JB - sorry, I don't undertsand your 1st ?

Another change, several mths back, was the disappearance of the current prog title which ran on a continuous loop. like ticker tape, below the station i.d.

Thankyou again asbokid - no, manual not lost, but I don't see anything like your example and my instructions are different to this.

BUT - :j:j:j, pressing the Display button a few times works!
I now have the cricket score updating while commentary's on.
