Single wage family - what can you claim

Hi all.
My partner is giving up work to look after our baby, and as we will only have one wage coming in, we are trying to find out what benefits (if any!!) we can claim. We already have child benefit and are in the process of sorting tax credits, but we are wondering if there is anything else to support our income.
Anybody have any ideas or in the same situation??

About 22,000 so about 1400 a month not including child benefit and tax credits.0

On £22k you'll get a little tax credits and CB, your income is too high for anything else.0

I think it's just Child Tax credit and Child Benefit. I don't think you can get working tax credits as you both need to be working 16hours if I remember right.
You may also be entitled to some housing benefit so is probably worth trying, the worst they can do is say no.Mummy to beautiful 5yr old girl and a gorgeous 1yr old boy:D0 -
its the childcare element that you both need to work for.....not wtc.0
