Royal Mail failed delivery

is it just me who thinks the seller got the item back twice, the second time without a card being posted? Why is the cynic in me thinking the seller didn't send it a second time and just said a week later they got it back?
Well it would answer the fact that the PO said they haven't had it in the delivery office...although thats odd, as they card it a week before, so it MUST have nbeen through the delivery office.
Too many holes in the story for me...0 -
OP,did the seller use the same RD number or a different one the 2nd time?0

Different number the second time. The first one was already closed off as returned but the second one was showing something to do with awaiting delivery. I'm fairly sure that means that the seller has sent it out both times...I am an employee of British Gas, however the views expressed on this post are mine and do not necessarily reflect the views of Centrica, its subsidiaries or affiliated companies.0

does it show as posted form X post office or simply passing through the network?0 -
I can't remember exactly what it was to be honest. It's gone to failed to deliver now. I don't remember it ever saying anything about posted at a particular place though. It was always something like in sorting or awaiting delivery...I am an employee of British Gas, however the views expressed on this post are mine and do not necessarily reflect the views of Centrica, its subsidiaries or affiliated companies.0
