Hello pennypuppy
I'll move your thread to 'The (Consumer) Vent' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Isn't she a member of a union? I would suggest the area manager would be a good first start. Going straight to the managing director would probably waste time as he's bound to pass it to the managers manager.
I don't think something would sound right comming from a friend, it should really come from her.
What is the problem anyway?0 -
The prospect of a multi million pound company Managing director reading and getting involved in a minor issue is really a non starter. Find out what TKMaxx policy and procedures are and follow that, I really wouldnt hope for some intervention from on high, it really doesnt happen. If I was a share holder I would want to know what an MD on a 6/7 figure salary was doing dealing with a very minor issue? Thats why they pay for a HR human resistance dept to fob off the poor people.
If its an employment issue, follow the employment procedures, follow the correct laid down procedures and seek advice, if a valid claim, go for an ET, otherwise a good bottle of wine and vent on the vent board.0
