help with growing peppers

Hi
I planted these pepper seeds about 2 month ago and one of them is about 9-10 inches tall and has started flowering is this ok. Do I just leave it or pull the flowers off, sorry I've never been any good with plants or flowers.
It's still on my kitchen window as well in case that matters
Thanks

Don't pull the flowers off if you want peppers. ;)

Have you got somewhere you can put it outside, during the day? Nowhere too windy if it's always been indoors. You want insects to be able to pollinate the flower, although you could do it yourself.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Have got some big wooden planters filled with fresh compost but because it's gone so windy I haven't got them outside yet but when the wind drops I will

I bought a tiny scotch bonnet plant last week, again it's on my windowsill but seems to be thriving. When can I expect it to produce some peppers?

Remeber, as mrfbadedxample says, you do need to get the flowers pollinated, or no peppers / chillies

A small artists paint brush will do the job, just go from flower to flower, dabbing the pollen in, buzzing bee like sound is optional

Or place outside & let the experts do it

In that case I shall use the paintbrush method - am a bit reluctant to put my pot outside, having only just got rid of a recurrent colony of ants (The ants had developed an affinity to my indoor orchid, which is now covered in flowers having been dormant for the last 6 months).

Not really, they are pretty pest free, except for usual suspects like greenfly & slugs, so slug pellet sprinkle & keep eye open for crinkly leaves which are a sign of aphid attack
