Monthly costs

First apologies if this is not the correct place, I was not quite sure.
I am about to buy a 1 bed flat, having been living at home recently. Single, no kids.
As part of doing the figures, I want to work out my monthly outgoings in order to figure out how much mortgage I can afford to pay out. But as I have not been paying bils at home (large semi so different bills anyway) I am trying to get a better idea.
I have done some guesstimates and hope I have thought of everything but if anyone in a similar situation would be kind enough to give me a rough idea of what they pay out for each month and the cost.
thank you

I know you have already seen my thread so you could use that as an estimate, although I think I may have over estimated some of the costs, which is not too bad as it will leave me with some flexibility!2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0

Yes I agree, it's always better to over rather than under-estimate...
I used the Natwest one I mentioned and used figures based on my brother who has a 2 bed masionette so some of the utilities should be a little less so do have a look there as there were some things that I had not thought of myself.0 -
Why not ask the current vendor for copies of their utility bills for the last 12 months? Will give you a real indication of costs?0
