Is this all i need to watch tv on my laptop?:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DIGITAL-TV-FREEVIEW-TUNER-USB-2-0-DONGLE-LAPTOP-PC_W0QQitemZ130057645737QQihZ003QQcategoryZ11072QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

or will i need to buy this and add extra bits and bobs?

i am assuming that if i buy this i will not need to connect an arial to it and it will receive freeview??

If anyone has any info or website on what i would need to watch tv on laptop it would be appreciated. thanks.

That seems to have everything you need, however you will need to connect it to an external aerial if you want any chance of getting a picture.
    the supplied aerials are rubbish.

the aerial supplied worked a bit (only about 10 channels) for me in my office which is on the 4th floor near a transmitter.. at home it gets nothing. connected to the roof mounted aerial it's fine.
Depends on how close you are to the transmitter and how high up you are, but i suspect not good to you.

Type your postcode in here to find out what aerial you need:

  • i have one of these systems, again the supplied arial doesn't get anything which rather defeats the object but its fine if you plug into the main arial.
