Debit Card Transaction

Hi!
I ordered some turf worth about £200 over the phone on the 4th May, was delivered on the 6th.
On the 13th I had recieved the card reciept via the post, the reciept was dated the 11th.
I had checked our account and the available balance had indicated that the money had been taken out, though it had not appeared on the statement. A few days later I checked again, still nothing on the statement.
Now I've checked again still nothing on the statement but this time the available balance had shot up buy said £200.
What do you think is going on here?
Cheers
Martyn

The pre-authorisation has lapsed (probably due to an issue with their merchant acquirer/system provider).
However, since they have your card details they can process the transaction again. Ensure the funds remain available for when they process the transaction a second time.0 -
Thats the plan! The missus hopes that they dont notice/forget!

They have up to 6 years to take the payment, (they do have to inform you after a certain amount of time thought) so dont spend it on anything else.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
