transferring music libary into itunes

got my son an i pod nano for xmas.can i copy the libary of his current mp 3 player, a medion 1gb to the hard drive of my pc.then add it to his i tunes libary when he gets his i pod .:j many thanks in advance:j

yes that is right, there is an option from the file menu in iTunes to import folder.
If you create a folder and put all the MP3s in that it will import them in one go.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0
