Thursday 26th May - What small DFW things will you be doing today??

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D
Gooood morning - hope you're all well and cheery:j
Must get moving today....feel as if I'm running late though I'm probably not:o
Had a good day at college yesterday, I now need to make a mini plan of things to do rather than just think I have ages and not do anything until it's due in:rotfl:
Ok, here's my list of things for today - same old though:o
Have a fab day....the weekend is in sight:beer:

Morning lovely peeps
Thanks to Pixie for starting us off.
Good to hear from you Snoop. Fingers are crossed for your OH La E.
Well I had a bit of a busy night. I was supposed to bid on a dress but I was too busy cooking and forgot. I dropped the Le Creuset casserole lid on my foot last night (ouch), I suppose it could have been worse it could have been the pan. But I was hopping round the kitchen, swearing like a mad thing. :rotfl: Made my hot cross buns last night, saved you one Compliments.
Also made the decision to hand in my letter of resignation tomorrow. But then got in this morning to find out that my boss had emailed in the evening to say that one of the contracts would be going ahead! So now I feel bad for her. But I think this is the right thing to do. I am so miserable here. Just having a bit of wobble but I think I will do it. It wouldn't be fair to her if I left half way through the contract.
Today I will:- [STRIKE]Walk to work[/STRIKE]
- Check bank balances
- Check surveys
- Charge mobile at work
- Have homemade lunch
- Walk home
- Asparagus and bean pasta for tea, yum yum
- Make bread and muffins for my Lil Sis arrival
- Write letter of resignation
- Pack phone up to be sent for money

- Final flat tidy
- Watch the door for Lil Sis and OH - I am so excited
Have a great day everyone.

Morning All,
Had some good news last night. Scottish Gas had asked me for an electricity reading but when I sent it within the time they had asked for it, they said I was too late and I had to go with an estimated reading. This keeps happening and my DD got put up a few months ago. Anway, the bill came in last night and I was in credit, then I checked the metre against the estimated reading and the estimated reading is much higher, woo hoo! Being obsessive about switching everything off the second we're finished with it has paid off!
Here's my list for today:
- check banking
- do some surveys
- packed lunch
- dinner from freezer
- finish June meal planner
Hope you all have a good day

Hey!
Again, only my second day doing this so someone shout at me if im intruding/doing it wrong!!
Today I need to:
Work super hard to find someone for a Junior IT Sales Vacancy I have - will make me £100 in bonus (about £70 after tax).
But half price double airbed from argos for brother and fiance staying tomorrow night (£15)
CLEAN my flat ready for the family visiting - its not too bad but needs doing. First time theyre making the 4 hour trip to visit me so need to be house proud!
Spicey bean and sweet potato stew for dinner, as found on MSE!
Bit of 'pamper' time for me tonight... homemade facemasks and the likes!!
Other than airbed, not to spend any more money today!!0
