I recently bought some CD-RWs and was looking to re-write some laptop drivers onto a disk. However, this disk needs to be blank first.
Any ideas how to do this blanking! (software download etc).
Thanks in advance

if you just brought them aren't they already blank if there not you can just go on to the just and delete everything.1

I wish it was that easy! Doesn't seem as simple as that though. I've gone into 'my computer' and it my d:/ drive isn't showing up. Apart from a couple of songs on the CDRW accessed via media player, its useless at the moment.

any burning program like nero, record now will have a option to erase the disc0
-
go on run and type d:/ and see if it comes up0

if you don't have any erasing programs just search erasing cds on google0

Problem solved! For some reason my dvd-rw drive reappeared after a reboot and I found the option to erase the disk after going to explore!'Money can't buy you happiness, but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery'0
