Need a credit card for one-off car hire

Hi all
I have never had a credit card, but have booked car hire for a holiday in Croatia through Easyjet, and although I have paid up the full amount with my debit card, I need to have a credit card to pay for a 500 Euro deposit when we pick the car up.
So, what card should I go for, bearing in mind I will never use it again, just for this one-off occasion?

Apply for one from your bank. They know you and are in a good position to judge your creditworthiness. As you will be paying it off right away (I hope) the interest rate is irrelevant and there is no advantage in looking for the best deal.Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??
