thanks for this is that saying 30 p per mile?
our quarter 10.9 miles from hubbys work so is we get on average £89 but contribute £9 so get about £80.
someone who lives in same town and has same work place gets nearly 3 times more than us , wondering who is in the wrong us or them
this is how i work it out
10.9 x 2 = say 22 miles per day
x 30 days (month)
I thought it was about 13p a mile so
660 x 0.13 = £85.80 which would be about right
thanks0 -
You should be getting HDT at the 11 mile rate, which is £3.25 per day. The 3 mile contribution of £0.89 per day should then be taken off, this is shown as a deduction on the pay slip.
JSP 752 states that AA Autoroute Classic should be used to calculate the journey distance. We use postcode to postcode to calculate the distance, so check that to compare with the person in the same town.
Prior to 01 May 2011 the personal contribution was only 1 mile. It will increase to 6 miles in April 2012 and 9 miles in April 2013.0 -
thanks your being really helpful
so
£3.25 x 31 (may)=
£100.75
0.89p x 31 = 27.59
so am I right in thinking I should have been paid £100.75 and had 27.59 deducted?0 -
That's what my calculator makes it
All of the people I admin got less than 3 miles so I cannot confirm it 100%, but that is how it should be. The £100.75 will be shown as a payment and the £27.59 in the deductions column.0 -
thanks, I really appreciate your help. :T0

Remember to use AA Autoroute Classic (on the AA website) to check the mileage if you have any doubts.0

thanks just checked for our adress and other persons address both the same milage so no idea why they get so much.
so does that 3.25 per day cover 11 miles there and 11 miles back so roughly 15p per mile?0 -
It isn't really expressed as a per mile rate, it just covers the commuting to and from work.
In pre-JPA days it was possible to claim for two journeys in a day, such as to and from work then a later return for a mess meeting. But that has all gone now, but additional journeys are covered by it being paid every day of the month/year including weekends and leave.0
